Stu and Rob welcome you to Belmont House, a restored 1879 two storey Villa that combines elegant original Victorian features with antique and contemporary furnishings to create a friendly relaxed environment. The house is situated on the city rise and affords grand views of the city, harbour and peninsula. We are a 10 minute walk from the bars, cafes and restaurants in the city.

Three large beautifully appointed bedrooms, each with individual character are located on the upper floor of the house. Two rooms have ensuite bathrooms and one has its own private bathroom. The rooms all feature King or Queen size beds, warm down or wool duvets, feather pillows, electric blankets, clock radios and heating. Fresh seasonal fruit, chocolates, lifestyle magazines, books, fresh flowers, sparkling mineral water, bathrobes and luxurious New Zealand made Linden Leaves toiletries are also provided. Guests are welcome to access free wireless broadband internet connection.

Cooked or continental breakfast is served in the formal dining room. A selection of teas, fresh coffee and biscuits are available at any time of the day or night.

You are welcome to relax in guest lounge which has pleasant city views, both day and night. The lounge is a great place to curl up in a chair with a book or magazine or listen to music from our extensive CD collection or just watch TV. In the summer months you are welcome to relax and have a drink on the covered veranda that over looks our courtyard garden.

Belmont House provides a quiet haven close to the city’s vibrant restaurants and attractions.
