My name is Yen. Originally from Taiwan, I have been living in New Zealand for 18 years. I call myself Taiwanese Maori.. I enjoy nature and outdoor sports and love the arts.
My renovated rustic cottage is over 100 years old and is on the waterfront, overlooking
the Otago Peninsula. You can sit in my lounge or in your room and feel like you are on a
ship.
You can watch ships come and go or just read a book. There is a quiet peaceful
atmosphere
You can go kayaking, swimming or fishing just in front of my house. Horse riding is just close by
It is just 2km to historic Carey's Bay Hotel where you can get a meal as well as a drink. Port Chalmers is 3km away , and this quirky port town has cafes, art galleries, restaurants and a golf course.
Orokonui Eco Sanctuary is a short drive
away.
You can walk along the beach from Aramoana to view seals and penguins. It is about 13km to Dunedin.
