The South Island of New Zealand has some of the most dramatic and contrasting scenery of the world. From snow capped mountains and deep fiords to subtropical rain forest and surf beaches.
Cape House is situated on Cape Foulwind on the Northern West Coast of the South Island.
Cape Foulwind was named by a British explorer when difficult winds nearly grounded his ship on this part of the 'Coast.
Nearby is the town of Westport which is the centre of the Northern West Coast region. Westport is just 4 hours drive from the metropolitan city of Christchurch and has air services 6 days a week. |
