Chester Street East is a tree-lined, friendly street, a window to the City’s diverse dwellers and housing types. Popular as a street that offers holiday and short term accommodation, a gymnasium, squash court and swimming complex are within a five-minute walking distance. 
The lovely Avon river walk is only a stone-throw away. In the city, shops, restaurants, parks and sight-seeing activities abound.

Room Rates & Availability

The rates are designed to suit a range of travelers and guests. Depending on the number of visitors, duration of stay, room types and sizes, any specific requirements and special promotional activities, they vary from $50 to $ 65 per person per night. Two nights of minimum stay is preferred for a whole-apartment booking.

Room rates are based on per person per night. Special rates can be negotiated with increased nights of stay.

The apartment accommodates up to six people. Daily apartment rates are based on four- person occupancy. Extra tariffs are added for each additional person. Rates are discounted with increased nights of stay. Rates are based on each apartment per night.

Terms & Conditions
As Chester in Christchurch is located in a residential and quiet street, we seek the co-operation from guests to respect the privacy of the other residents in the apartment complex.
Chester in Christchurch is a totally smoke-free environment. In line with New Zealand legislation and for the health and comfort of our guests and staff, smoking is not permitted in the building, courtyard or outside areas adjacent to the front door and courtyard entrances.
Making a Reservation:
Please make reservation through your host or co-host. This will give us the opportunity to note your specific travel arrangements and requirements. Credit card details will be required.
It is important that you provide sufficient notice (72 hours) if your plans change or if you are unable to complete your intended stay. Cancellations made with less than this notice will incur a one night charge.
Payment
We accept cash. Payment is requested the night before departure, unless other arrangements have been made. For those staying for periods longer than 4 nights or for those splitting their stay with us, we request that half of the payment be made at the time of arrival. A deposit may be required.
Checkout
We request guests check-out by 11am, unless previous arrangements have been made for a late departure. If you are arriving late in the evening and staying only for a night, just ask and we will most certainly accommodate a later departure for you.

Any of the above may incur a replacement or repair charge.
