Own separate toilet. * House – Well heated with log fire plus electric heating. * Use of separate lounge with T.V., stereo and piano. * Large range of books to browse, many about New Zealand. * The house is a smoke-free zone.
	Meals at High Living Women's Bed and Breakfast A continental breakfast is served in the sunny living area, outdoors on the patio, or in the privacy of your own room. There are many local cafes & restaurants but dinner can be arranged on request. Special diets catered for. We provide a good selection of N.Z.’s fresh G.E. free produce including fruit, vegetables, meat & fish garnished with fresh herbs from the garden. A three course meal is accompanied by wine selected from our cellar.
Your Hosts * Your hosts are Jill & Ruth. Jill is a semi-retired Anglican priest and Ruth is a self-employed renovator. * We have a wide experience of tramping, kayaking and exploring in New Zealand and overseas. * Other interests include gardening, music, reading, good food and wine, art, ballet, and theatre. * We have a goodly number of children and grandchildren between us but none living at home. * We enjoy the opportunity to share our experiences and our home.

How to Find Us Address: 4 Luxton Place Mt. Pleasant, Christchurch, New Zealand From Christchurch City By Bus – Take Route 32 from the Bus Exchange. Ask for the nearest stop to Drayton Drive. After alighting walk up hill, turn left into Drayton Drive, then left into Luxton place. A $2 ticket will allow you to travel anywhere in the city including transfers." By Car – Take the route to Sumner. Cross Ferrymead Bridge. Before the Causeway turn right into McCormack’s Bay Rd, then second right into Solares Ave. Go to the top of the road and turn left into Mt. Pleasant Rd., left into Drayton Drive, and left into Luxton Place. High Living has easy access and off street parking. From the Airport By Local bus or Shuttle into the City - then catch a bus to Mt. Pleasant as described above. By Shuttle or Taxi directly to Mt. Pleasant There are many shuttle services which run 24hrs per day. Cost approx. $30 per couple. Taxis are also available 24hrs with reasonable charges. By Car We are 30 mins drive from the airport, either through the city centre or detouring around it.
