hosts Bonnie and Susie welcome you to Smoothwater Haven, a
delightful residence situated in the heart of Central Otago, New
Zealand.
Our lovely home overlooks the Lake Dunstan Bendigo Wildlife
Reserve, enjoying uninterrupted 360 degree views of mountains
and lake.
The glorious, ever-changing colours of the lake and busy
wildlife compose a haven for all seasons, enhanced by stunning
sunrises and sunsets.
We have an extensive orchard, growing our own fruit and berries.
Three hundred Tuscan olives, together with truffle-oak trees,
almonds, hazels, pecans and walnuts occupy our 4 HA (10 acres )
property.

.We are situated at
Gilmore Road, 14 km from Cromwell and 30 kms from Wanaka on
State Highway 6. Five major ski fields are within one hour’s
drive and we are surrounded by Central Otago’s famed Pinot
Noir vineyards and wonderful cherry orchards.
Also on site are Ramses our pedigree Keeshond dog, Biru our
collie ...a real farm dog, and our crazy kitten Taurus.
Bonnie and Susie have lived in many countries, and look forward
to sharing stories with you.
