The Location
We are secluded behind Pete's Museum and Information Centre, 2 minutes before reaching Kerikeri village, and just a few seconds past the Makana Chocolate Factory.

You can walk to Kerikeri restaurants and cafes. The historic basin, rainbow falls walks, wineries and craft shops are only moments away. We are a short drive away from Paihia and Bay of Islands waterside delights.

Stroll through our gardens, and discover secret destinations amongst the ferns.

Your Hosts
Rob and Lionel left Melbourne, Australia in 2011 to return to Lionel's native New Zealand, and open Moon Gate Villa.

Lionel is possibly the only Maori to be running hosted accommodation in the Bay of Islands, but in gay friendly Kerikeri, they are certainly not the only gay hosts!
