BigglesField occupies the site of an old airstrip around 250m above sea level, enjoy the the rural views and Native Bush that surround this delightful lodge. Magnificent views down the historic Otaki Gorge, to the Tasman Sea and Mt Taranaki. This lovely large home, central to the Kapiti Coast playground and the Tararua Forest Park, is yours to enjoy.

BigglesField Lodge is home to Andrew and Warren and their larger than life, but very placid, cute and friendly St. Bernard…. “Charlie Brown”, and two adorable black kittens...Djuma and Jumahlli.

Guest Rooms

The accommodation, which sleeps up to 6 people in three generous double bedrooms has been themed in peaceful, natural colours. Comfort, privacy and warmth are a priority in some of the most luxurious and comfortable rooms you will see in New Zealand
A shower ensuite is a feature of the Master suite , and the other two bathrooms also feature modern showers. There is also access to a fully equipped laundry should you need it during your stay. BigglesField accommodation allows smoking on the expansive verandahs but not indoors (so you can be sure to enjoy the aromas from the kitchen).

Directions

BigglesField Lodge is found just off the main Wellington to Taupo Highway. 
Turn right into Otaki Gorge Road just prior to the Otaki River when heading North.
