This 1890s Villa has been lovingly restored to its original elegance and splendour set in peaceful picturesque surroundings with uninterrupted views of Mount Te Aroha in all its changing moods. It offers the discerning traveller the very best in accommodation.
The guests private lounge and dining rooms are tastefully decorated to provide a comfortable, relaxed and friendly atmosphere. The bedrooms have their own personality with emphasis on quality beds and fine linens, each with its own TV, well appointed ensuites with a full range of NZ quality toiletries and big fluffy towels. Guests will find many little extras - beds turned down, chocolates, bottled water, dressing gowns and complimentary slippers to take.

Enjoy complimentary afternoon tea served from 3.30-4.30 pm with club sandwiches and home baking, then from 5.30-6.30 pm we offer a glass of wine, beer or a soft drink. 

There is no traffic noise yet the villa is just a 3 minute drive to town centre, cafes, spa and shops or guests can enjoy a 20 minute stroll via the wetlands bird sanctuary to town - if you would rather not walk or drive to town, a complimentary drop off/pick up is available. We are happy to make a reservation at one of the local restaurants, spa pools, therapeutic massages or any other activity that takes your fancy.
