Set in a lush, subtropical garden this lovingly restored Victorian villa reflects the architecture and life of a bygone New Zealand. In keeping with the historical character of the house and neighbourhood your accommodation features traditional details coupled with modern comforts. We have endeavoured to create a tranquil, refined and private space for you here in the heart of Auckland.
The self-contained suite features a sitting area, queen bed, kitchenette and bathroom with rainfall shower. You look out onto the sheltered, lavishly landscaped front garden – an inspiring way to start each day with us.
The Office B & B offers easy access to many of Auckland's favourite attractions. The Central Business District, Britomart, Newmarket and Ponsonby Road feature world-class shopping opportunities. If you prefer learning about the area's history, the Maritime Museum, the Auckland Art Gallery and the Auckland Museum will enlighten you. Aotea Centre, the Civic Theatre, the Basement Theatre, Auckland Town Hall, Q Theatre, the ASB Waterfront Theatre and the SkyCity Theatre present a wide variety of interesting plays, screenings, concerts and other artistic events. Many of the nearby city parks feature performances, events and screenings on a regular basis as well. Sports fans will find that the marina, ASB Tennis Centre and Eden Park are easily accessible. For those who seek unique encounters with nature may we suggest visits to Rangitoto Island, Tiri Tiri Island or a visit to the nearby Waitakere Mountains.
The most pleasant way to explore this garden suburb and the city is on foot. From the front gate the shops and eateries of trendy Ponsonby Road are an easy five minute walk; bohemian Karangahape Road is ten minutes away and the Sky Tower/Entertainment District and Central Business District are a mere fifteen minute walk. The Wynyard Quarter, Ferry Terminal and port are within easy reach as well – a reminder of Freemans Bay's maritime heritage. Our tree-lined street serves as a green corridor between Western Park and Victoria Park, two of the central city's largest recreational spaces. The Office B & B offers a perfect location for exploring all the city has to offer whether business or pleasure brings you here.

Over the last twenty-four years we have seen many changes to the city and area.
